Spin
Is a high intensity cardiovascular workout that's also fun to do! You will do a
45 minute workout to upbeat music and it not only helps your heart and lungs but
also tones and works your muscles. HEART RATE SPIN – involves using heart
rate monitors and heart rate training zones.
Aerobic Attack
Combines hi – lo cardio aerobic routines with strength and endurance exercises
to burn fat and increase your fitness. The class may include Aerobics, Step, and
Weights.
Pilates
Focuses on the postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and provide support
for the spine. Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the
spine and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles.
Running Club
Instructor led run around the local area, classes may include distance, hills and
speed training. A fun, enjoyable class outside of the gym, meet new people and get
fit at the same time.
Yoga
Is a thorough workout which exercises the mind and body using concentration, meditation
and relaxation to complete a yoga pose which helps to increase flexibility, strength
and inner calm. Can help to reduce stress. YOGALATES – combination of Yoga and Pilates.
Total Body Workout
Targets all major muscle groups and includes everything from straight set workouts
to circuit training. It's an intense workout but well worth it and lots of fun.
Boxercise / Kickboxercise
An effective form of cross training which combines both aerobic and anaerobic energy.
It's a great form of stress relief and ensures a diverse workout. It's great at
improving sports specific senses which include hand-eye coordination, balance and
timing. The class is fun, energetic and very addictive.
Bums & Tums
A fun energetic workout targeting all those problem areas including legs, bum, tums
and arms using a series of toning exercises.
Abs Blast
An intense workout concentrating on the abdominal muscles strengthening and tightening
them with a range of different floor based exercises.
Body Conditioning
This class concentrates on toning and technique rather than intensity; classes usually
include hand weights, resistance bands or body bars to increase intensity or effect.
ZUMBA
Is a latin inspired dance fitness class. A cardio based workout helping to tone
the body. An allround fun, effective class for all ages and abilities (you don't
have to know how to dance!).
Box Fit (Free Kids class)
A non contact, fun workout for 'under 18s' designed around what Ricky would do in
his training.
Hatton ABC
Stands for aerobic-boxing-conditioning. A form of boxing training in the Pro boxing
gym, but with no contact. The class is led by a qualified boxing coach.
HI–LO RETRO
An easy to follow fun packed aerobic routine. High or low impact you choose. Set
to funky disco tunes!
