Jeff Evans called into Prizefighter

Monday, June 21, 2010

Rookie Super-middleweight Jeff Evans has been given a golden chance to take his fledgling career to the next level after being called into in the line-up for the next Prizefighter show on June 30 at York Hall.

Evans, who has won all three of his professional bouts under the stewardship of former WBU champion Gary Lockett, will be the most inexperienced fighter on the super-middleweight bill, but after sparring sessions with European champion Nathan Cleverly and former Commonwealth champ Bradley Pryce, the 27-year-old is determined to cause an upset.
“You don’t miss an opportunity like this, I’m ecstatic,” said the Pontypool product.
