Scott Quigg closes in on British title

Scott Quigg stopped Gavin Read after 1 minute 20 seconds of the ninth round to win the British Super Bantamweight title eliminator at Bolton. Referee Howard Foster stepped in to confirm Quigg's 19th pro victory which puts him on the verge of his first title.
