When did you start boxing? –
Started amateur boxing at the age of 19 whilst studying Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sport Studies at University of Central Lancashire. Turned professional at 23.
Who is your favourite boxer? –
I don't have one specific but more like a combination of boxers and fighters. For pure skill, speed and ability has to be combination of Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Jnr, Sugar Shane Mosley and Floyd Prettyboy Mayweather. For pure heart, determination, and aggression it has to be Mike Tyson, Marvlous Marvin Hagler and Ricky Hitman Hatton.
Hobbies –
Spending time with the family and friends. Coaching at the FIT2XL Boxing Club in Lower Darwen. Going to the cinema and eating, eating, eating when out of training!!!
